Qualifications for Membership
Some qualifications differ between Grand Lodges. If you are living outside of Oklahoma, find your jurisdictional Grand Lodge for more information.
To join Freemasonry in the State of Oklahoma under the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma you must:
Be a man
Be 18 years of age or older
Be of good moral character
Have a personal belief in a Supreme Being (the definition of which is up to you as Freemasonry is not concerned with theological distinctions or particular religious beliefs)
Be motivated to join for reasons unrelated to personal gain or profit
Have a sincere determination to conduct yourself in a manner that will earn the respect and trust of others
Possess a desire to help others through community service and universal benevolence

Freemasons do not recruit. We believe a good man will approach Freemasonry on his own free will and accord.
